Paris Wedding – France Wedding Videographer,
What made you choose your venue
Paris may sound a cliche for a wedding, but we really do love this city. Natasha always wanted to live here, we love Godard movies so much, we spend most of our mutual vacations in France – so for us the choice was pretty obvious and easy. Plus, it is so romantic! The best place on the planet Earth to get married. One hundred percent La vie en rose.
What made you choose me to document your day
One evening we decided to Google the wedding videographers who film in Paris or in France and we found Dan’s website and saw the Provence wedding and the one in the mountains. And then we just watched and rewatched these beautiful small movies, falling in love with Dans aesthetics and style and really unique way of seeing people. Not just filming that ordinary same wedding stuff but showing really who these two in love are, their love story as it is – pure, simple, in tiny lovely details. When we found Dan, we stopped our research immediately!
What do you guys do?, what is important in life to you? How do you spend your days?
Alex is working for classical music orchestra and Natalia is a communications manager and lifestyle freelance editor for some magazines and blogs. We have a cute and funny corgi puppy named Henry, a small apartment in Moscow with lots of books and wine bottles from our trips to France and Germany. We are dreamers and travellers, fond of art and photography, indie and classical music, 60-s and good wine.
The proposal, how did it happen, what is the story.
We met on our friend’s party several years ago, and two years ago in Amsterdam we decided to live happily ever after, travel the world and have fun and maybe kids – some time in the feature! Alex proposed in a very classic romantic way – we were in an open air restaurant, and when the sun came down he asked me if I wanted to marry him. I watched this beautiful pink sky and Alex’s eyes – how could I say no? I sais Yes and cried – as happy as I could imagined. I just love that story. It was beautiful and touching and so us.
What kind of experience did you want for your guests from your wedding.
We always loved watching European movies, we love France and especially Paris, so we decided to make our special vows in Palais Royale, our favourite place in the city. Just the two of us – Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg style. Nothing typical – a walk in le Marais, champagne in Plaza, a small lunch and the opera in the evening. The small venue fulfilled with a huge amount of details.
