A Ceremony as Personal as It Was Beautiful

Millie walked down the aisle in a breathtaking custom Galia Lahav lace gown, her Monvieve veil trailing softly behind her. White florals framed the ceremony space, where Matthew Modine, Millie’s “Stranger Things” co-star, stood ready to officiate—a touch that made the moment even more intimate and meaningful.

Jake, waiting at the altar in a tailored Tom Ford tuxedo, locked eyes with his bride, and in that instant, everything else faded away. The world paused, and for a moment, it was just them.

A Reception That Felt Like a Dream

As the sun melted into the Tuscan hills, the gardens of Villa Cetinale transformed into a candlelit wonderland.

The reception tables, draped in soft linens and adorned with floral masterpieces by Flowers Living, created an atmosphere that was as intimate as it was grand. Millie later changed into a delicate lace Oscar de la Renta gown, ready to celebrate the night away under the Italian sky.

With music by Sensation Band, incredible cuisine by Galateo Ricevimenti, and the warmth of laughter, love, and clinking glasses, this was a night that won’t soon be forgotten.

More Than a Wedding—A Story of Friendship

Filming this wedding wasn’t just an honor—it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. But more than that, it was personal.

I’ll never forget my first wedding with Divine Day Photography, where we bonded over Chinese food at 4 AM after a long shoot. That night, over noodles and laughter, a friendship was formed. Years later, standing together in Tuscany, filming one of the biggest weddings of the year, it was surreal to think how far we’d come. And yet, at its core, it was still just two friends doing what they love.

And then, of course, there’s Millie & Jake. Some couples are kind. Some couples are gracious. They are both—and so much more. From the very first moment, they made everyone feel like family.

Since that day, they’ve become more than just clients—they’ve become friends. Beautiful humans, inside and out, who radiate kindness, warmth, and a love that is so real, it’s almost tangible.
