WHY DID YOU CHOOSE CASTELLO DI VALLE IN TUSCANY AS YOUR VENUE?

We chose to get married overseas as traveling has been a big part of our lives and our relationship. Italy in particular is close to our hearts as Bea has fond memories of travelling and studying in Italy as a young girl and my family origins are Italian.
When we were searching for venues, we came across Castello di Valle and knew it was perfect for us with its natural charm, character and history.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE JUNO WEDDING FILMS TO DOCUMENT YOUR WEDDING?

For us, it was about capturing the emotion of the day and not just documenting it. We came across Juno Wedding Films and were instantly moved by the combination of emotive quality and artistic sensibility of Dan’s work. From initially Skyping with Dan through to the finished film, the entire process was seamless and we were confident in his creative vision and passion for his craft. He did not disappoint and was truly able to capture the essence of the day.

WHAT DO YOU GUYS DO FOR A LIVING? WHAT IS IMPORTANT IN LIFE, HOW DO YOU SPEND YOUR DAYS?

Bea is a strategy director at a Sydney-based luxury media agency, MAXMEDIALAB. I’ve always worked in the music and arts sector and currently own a music management agency. We both have busy schedules work-wise so we ensure we make the most of our free time together doing the things we love and spending time with our friends and family.

THE PROPOSAL, HOW DID IT HAPPEN?

In 2016, we took a trip to Greece. Our final stop was Santorini and on the first night I ordered a bottle of champagne while we watched the sunset. At that moment, I asked the love of my life to become my wife against the most amazing backdrop.

WHAT EXPERIENCE DID YOU WANT FOR YOUR GUESTS AT THE WEDDING?

For us, it was all about intimacy and creating a communal environment where everyone felt engaged and at ease. We wanted to stay true to who we are so we kept it relaxed, simple and organic. We tried to focus on the most important elements of the day, leveraging the natural magic of the space.
